The Reference Tables, managed at central level or by the National administrator. It stores values related among them to help the users fill-in the forms with adequate information.
When clicking on the Reference Tables menu option, a list of all tables defined in the system is shown.
New Reference Table
Click on the 'New Reference Table' button, to add a new table to the list. On the page that opens, fill in the basic information of the Reference Table. Set the Reference Table as 'Collaborative', this way the authorities will be allowed to collaborate adding values to it.
Select, from the left tree, the attribute that will act as trigger, the one that will be used to look up into the Reference Table. Ones the trigger is selected, then the right tree is available for you to select those attributes that will be filled-in after the triggering attribute' value.
Click on 'Save' to keep the table's info.
Release Reference Table
To release a Reference Table so it can be used in the form filling, you first need to feed the table with values, to do this, click on the 'Edit table' menu option and then on the 'Import values' button. Authorities can also collaborate by adding values to those reference tables that are set as 'collaborative'; to do this, the authority user shall have the 'National Reference Database Collaborator' role assigned.
To help you create the csv with all the values to be imported, you can first download the csv template by clicking on the corresponding button in the Reference Table Properties page
Unpublish Referece Table
Click on the 'Unpublish' menu option to sease a Reference Table from being used during the form filling. This option is only available for 'Releases' tables.
