Batch execution

There are three ways to execute a Batch operation. On demand, scheduled and continuous.

On demand

Data Management > Batch Operations

In the Administration panel, the Batch operations window you will have visible your Batch operations library with your created Batch operations. Batch operations shared to you via shared library will also be available.

on demand

If you want to execute any of those Batch operations on demand, click on the 'three dots' icon to open the menu each Batch operation has and click on the  'Execute' button. The execution of the Batch operation will start immediately.

Scheduled

After creating a Batch operation with a daily, weekly or monthly scheduling as described in the Batch creation section, the ECCAIRS platform will automatically execute it as programmed.

Continuous

After creating a Batch operation with a Continuous execution as described in the Batch creation section, the ECCAIRS platform will launch the execution of the Batch operation when a Report or Safety Recommendation is saved in Minor or Major version. If the report being saved matches the parameters configured in the query, the actions of the Batch operation will be applied to this report.

Take into account

When a Batch operation starts its execution, the registers affected by this execution will be blocked for editing or deletion. The registers will be blocked at least for as long as the execution of the Batch operation is running.

The blocking mechanism can be extended by selecting a bigger amount of time when creating the Batch operation and choosing the Undo option.
