Views

You can access throught the top menu 'Views Management > Views' option.

First, the list of all available views will be displayed

Create view

To create a new view, press the  'New View' button. A window to create the new view will be opened.

Fields marked with an asterisk * will be mandatory on saving.

Status

A view can have three statuses. Draft, release and archived

status

The first time you are creating a new view, the status will be Draft. You will not be able to create a new view directly with Release status.

A view with Draft status is only seen by the user creating the view, so make sure everything is correct before changing its status to Release.

Webform View

You can choose if you want the view to be a webform with this selector. This is useful for creating views being used in the Reporting portal.

If you select the webform, new fields will appear. The type will then be required and if Organisation is selected, the Organisational sector will become a mandatory field.

An authority can only have one released webform view per type and organisational sector at any given time.

Roles

As a last step, you will have to select the roles that will have this view available and the actions that they can perform through this view

Click on the 'Save' button when you have finished.

This can also be done from the Roles page.

Add topics to a View

To edit a View an add topics and sections click on the 'three dots' icon and on the 'Edit View' option. A new window will be displayed

Preview view

When creating a view, you can preview the result by going to the menu that each view has and clicking on the 'Preview' button

If the view is a web form, you will be redirected to a window in which the selected view will be constructed and showed to you in its actual state. The window will be similar to this

Managing an existing View

You can edit the Views Properties, copy a View or delete one
